Director of ACE PA LIMITED Gary Jones has been working in the PA hire business for over 20 years.After finishing an engineering apprenticeship he then went on to be a Professional Guitarist & Freelance Sound Engineer touring England & Europe until 1995 when he joined Concert Systems in Altrincham Cheshire. Gary joined as a sales consultant and went on to become the Installations Manager.Jan 2001 started in a new position as JBL Pro Audio Sales Manager. Responsible for such products as JBL, AKG, dbx & Powersoft. Then returned to PA Hire to start ACE PA in Sept 2001.By this time Gary had successfully completed a Soundcraft course in Sound Reinforcement and Engineering @ Liverpool Community College.

The PA Hire department is continuously kept busy with work from various local councils, Tameside, Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Oldham, Trafford, Stretford, Wigan and Leigh. As well as AV Conference Company's, Event Organisers, Promotion company's and PR Agencys.Past and recent events have included Manchester City Council's BBC Music Live, Sport Relief, SWAP Festival, VE Day Celebrations, Selfridges Brazil weekend, Stalybridge Splash, Ashton Streets Ahead, Hyde Splendid Weekend, Albert Halls Bolton, The Bolton Show, Bolton MELA, BDH Xmas party featuring Peter Kay 2001 & The Christians 2002.Manchester World Cup for Refugee Action Group. Rotary 100 year celebrations @ M.E.N. arena.

We also provide freelance engineers for several artists & company's, Event Technical Support, The Drifters, Stax of Soul, JK as Robbie Williams, Rockys (Moorfest, Tom Hingley, Easterhouse, The Mighty Wah! & Badly Drawn Boy)The Willows Variety Club, Jon Christos, Comtec Presentations, Concert Systems, Contact Theatre, K2B Audio and various technical event and production company's.Servicing and Installation. ACE PA Installs Sound & Light systems to the leisure industry into various Bars, Clubs & Restaurants (eg: Waterside, Bury, Pavillion Bars Stalybridge, Rendezvous Astley, Mint Lounge Manchester, Yang Sing Restaurant, Lancashire Cricket Club Old Trafford, The Willows Salford Rugby Club) We also provide services for Schools, Places of worship, Loop Induction Systems & Factory Tannoy Systems.

ACE PA purchased a Logic System Ethos Line-Array in 200712x Ethos VA 2x8"/2x1" Tops, 4x B2 2x15" 1000W Bass Bins, 4x SB2 2x18" 2000W SubsThe system can run as a 20K rig or split into two 10K rigs.Also tried and tested were the LM15 1x15"/1.4" 600W Coaxial monitors. A total of 10 were purchased.The amp rack contains Camco Vortex6 & 4 Amplifiers, BSS processor and 31 band graphic.The monitor rack utilizes QSC PLX amplification with KT DN360 graphics or LA Audio EQ231G-SP.New for 2009 was the purchase of a Yamaha M7 CL48. 48 channel digital mixing console
